The Control Systems Group (CSG) is a membership organization dedicated to the application of Perceptual Control Theory (PCT) to understanding the purposeful behavior of living organisms. The organization is composed of people interested in the behavioral, social, or life sciences who see the potential in PCT for increased understanding in their own fields and for the unification of diverse and fragmented specialties. The Control System Group group does not represent any one scientific discipline. It is a vehicle for promoting interaction among people, whatever their discipline, who are interested in using or learning more about perceptual control theory. The group's mission is to encourage the application of perceptual control theory within existing disciplines and lower the barriers between disciplines.
