IAPCT conference 2026

36th IAPCT Conference – York, UK | October 7-10, 2026

+ MOL practitioners meeting, October 12+13, near Manchester (tbc).

We’re excited to announce that the 36th IAPCT Conference and Annual Meeting will take place near the historic city of York, UK, from October 7–10, 2026.

Thanks to a generous contribution by Dag Forssell, we are able to organize a shared venue where participants can both stay and attend the conference together — creating a truly immersive PCT experience. Come for the sessions, stay for the conversations that continue over dinner. Pricing options will be announced soon; Dag’s donation ensures that costs for staying at the venue will be accessible for all participants.

The conference venue is the Parsonage Hotel, 20 minutes from York (there’s a bus connection as well). As always, the conference will be hybrid, with online access available for our global community. That said, we especially encourage you to join us in person — the interactive sessions, workshops, and informal exchanges are where the real magic happens.

Getting there: York is well connected by train from London and other UK cities. The nearest airports are Leeds Bradford, Manchester, and London airports.

We welcome talks, workshops, and symposia on all things PCT. The call for proposals is now open — submit your proposal here. Start thinking about what you’d like to contribute!

Key dates (provisional):

  • Call for proposals: open now
  • Submission deadline: May 31, 2026
  • Notification of acceptance: June 2026
  • Conference: October 7–10, 2026
  • MOL Practitioners Meeting: October 12–13, 2026, near Manchester (tbc)

MOL Practitioners Meeting Following the conference, a MOL practitioners meeting will be organized near Manchester on October 12–13. For more information, contact Eva de Hullu, Matías Salgado, or Laura Hudepohl.

Hybrid format The conference will include in-person sessions, interactive online programming for global participation, live streaming of face-to-face sessions, and recorded sessions shared with online participants afterward. Online participation is free, as in previous years.

We’re also looking for help shaping this conference. If you’re interested in designing the conference artwork, joining the scientific committee (helping select and organize the program), or contributing to the interactive and social program — we’d love to hear from you.
